Brooke Butler is the Vice President of Business Development for Simplifya, the cannabis industry's leading regulatory and operational compliance software. She is an energetic professional who spent the last decade building her career in business intelligence in 8 countries across 4 continents before returning to the US to help grow Simplifya's business. As a Country Director for global research and publishing firm Oxford Business Group, Brooke gained vital experience introducing a brand and products to new highly regulated markets and fostering commercial partnerships with the public and private sectors.

Additionally, she helped identify new business opportunities in frontier economies for multi-national corporations and investors and secured meetings with high-profile personalities who influence investment issues including the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka Ranil Wickremesinghe, Former Prime Minister of Malaysia Najib Abdul Razak, former President of the Philippines President Benigno Aquino III, former President of Brazil Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, and former President of Nigeria Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, amongst others.

Brooke was finally convinced it was the right time to make the move back to America after she saw how quickly the cannabis industry was growing and knew the expertise she had gained from working in some of the world’s most dynamic frontier economies could be used to help grow this new emerging industry. Her greatest desire is to help ensure that any cannabis business setting out to operate in the legal market has a chance to not only survive but thrive!

Matt Greene has spent his entire career in the marketing, advertising and AdTech industry. His fascination with technology began in 1987 while working with his client Steve Jobs in developing the launch strategies for NeXT Computers. Starting in 1998, Matt pioneered online advertising and supporting technologies for the digital ad agency he founded, Blue Ribbon Digital, where his team drove innovation across all aspects of digital media - from Search to Mobile and Video, his agency measurably generated over $2BB in revenues for their Fortune 100 clients. In this capacity, Matt has spoken at leading conferences such as AdTech, iMedia Summits and the Googleplex in Mountain View, CA. Starting in 2015, Matt re-focused his energies on the burgeoning cannabis industry knowing that the need for innovation in technologies to support the industry would be mandatory. With his his new company, Edible Sciences, he and his team on concentrating their energies in solving the #1 problem facing the edibles sector: Dosing Accuracy. He will be speaking at Binghampton University's TIER Talks in SEPT '17 on technology innovations occurring in the cannabis ancillary space.
