Jude Thilman

Founder, Dragonfly, Director of Education, True Farma

Jude Thilman is a medical cannabis educator and entrepreneur, offering public presentations throughout California and counseling individuals in wisely choosing and using cannabis medicines. Her education work takes place through her 501(c)3, Creative Change Productions, founded in 2002 (cchange.org). She is the founder and director of Dragonfly Wellness Center (dragonflywellness.org) which opened in 2011 with the mission of providing cannabis medical herbs in the context of a range of holistic healing practices.

Jude is Director of Education for True Farma (truefarma.com), which provides direct patient delivery throughout California of dose-verified, lab tested, pure medicinal cannabis. She hosts a biweekly television program, “Cannabis News & ViewsTM (seen on mendocinotv.com). She started Bhutan (bhutanwellbeing.org), introducing pure and potent Mendocino herbal medicines into the California marketplace since 2015. She brings 30 years’ experience in the management of complex, multi- dimensional projects and in the production of educational media, for which she has received national awards.

Jude brings a life-long commitment to social change and has been an activist on behalf of many causes, including civil rights, gender and reproductive rights, peace and social justice campaigns, among others. She strongly believes in health care as a human right and sees a return to traditional, herbal medicine as sounding the death knell for a “pharmaceuticals dominant” approach to resolving “dis- ease.” She serves on the Board of the Mendocino Cannabis Industry Association and was a leader in the 2016 campaign to pass Measure AF, the first ballot effort to end cannabis prohibition in Mendocino County.

Matt Greene has spent his entire career in the marketing, advertising and AdTech industry. His fascination with technology began in 1987 while working with his client Steve Jobs in developing the launch strategies for NeXT Computers. Starting in 1998, Matt pioneered online advertising and supporting technologies for the digital ad agency he founded, Blue Ribbon Digital, where his team drove innovation across all aspects of digital media - from Search to Mobile and Video, his agency measurably generated over $2BB in revenues for their Fortune 100 clients. In this capacity, Matt has spoken at leading conferences such as AdTech, iMedia Summits and the Googleplex in Mountain View, CA. Starting in 2015, Matt re-focused his energies on the burgeoning cannabis industry knowing that the need for innovation in technologies to support the industry would be mandatory. With his his new company, Edible Sciences, he and his team on concentrating their energies in solving the #1 problem facing the edibles sector: Dosing Accuracy. He will be speaking at Binghampton University's TIER Talks in SEPT '17 on technology innovations occurring in the cannabis ancillary space.
